Heather is an artist and a cartographer interested primarily in landscape. She comes from Antigonish County, Nova Scotia and lives in Redlands in sourthern California.
Heather attended the idealistic and international Pearson College on Vancouver Island, participated in the arts community in Kingston, Ontario while a student at Queen's University, walked as a pilgrim on the Camino de Santiago in northern Spain, printed at Open Studio in Toronto, worked for a summer in Algonquin Park, and studied cartography in the village of Lawrencetown in the Annapolis Valley. Currently Heather is a product engineer for the GIS software company ESRI, where she designs and tests mapping features.
